This is a sequence taken recently of a friend getting a pregnancy belly cast. It will need some clean up due to some slumping but this is easily done after a week's cure. This may give an idea of the process.
We start with a bare pregnant belly

A little plastic to protect the clothing (wear old stuff in any case!!)

First coat of Aliginate applied

All the alginate is on and plastering begins

Working the plaster and bandages into place.

Plaster on and mold hardening

Waiting for it to solidify

This is just out of the mold. It slumped on the side away from the hand but some sanding and creative sculpture will clean that up. Hand detail is excellent.

Stay tuned for further finished photos.
